The pdoc put me on Oxcarbazepine, an anticonvulsant, as a mood stabilizer.

He told me straight up that it is not FDA cleared for the treatment of BP, but it directly related to one that is, only it does not require blood tests and has much fewer side effects compared to its predecessor.

He said he has had great sucess with it and it seems to be working well for me.

Is anyone else out there on this drug?

Has anyone even heard of it?

It is not on this sites drug list...
