Stand your ground. You didn't do anything wrong. Don't cower in fear or say "Yes ma'am yes sir", you deserve to be paid to attend meetings and you didn't do anything wrong. Stand strong, stand proud. I really don't think its even legal for them to fire you over this and if they do, say you're going to talk to HR or file a complaint for work harassment and bullying and unpaid hours and unpaid travel expenses since you don't have a car.
