Mamazangel... I have a dear friend in housekeeping who sometimes comes and helps me at home when I get a few extra bucks. She is full time but I hear the very same stories from her that I am hearing from you. We too work in a hospital. She has even been told to not work so much. However she has high standards and I do appreciate that.

I am sorry and hope that maybe you might look to other areas in the hospital to do housekeeping but I do not know how large your hospital is. Check out Direction's offer... I bet she would have some words of wisdom for you.

Just know that I respect my friend highly and ... that is also why I trust her in my home (believe me...I have improved but have had some housekeeping concerns..lol ) and know that she is a hard and dependable worker. Keep the course and keep your eyes open to other opportunities around you. It is important that you feel respected and like where you work.
