Younger and younger, young adults are becoming alcoholic. I have a friend who just got 10 years of sobriety. He's 25. He did his worst drinking before he was 15. Unfortunatly, alcoholics aren't just old men.

I wish I knew what to say to help you understand why you didn't know about all this. Kids say they'll tell their parents anything, but when it comes to an addiction....we'll do anything to hide it and keep it "safe". You're not to blame here...

I hope your son is doing ok, and I hope he realizes that he has a problem and wants to get some help for it.
