to first realize that it isn't instant...........
that you have thoughts and feelings that lead to the anger........
anger is a secondary emotion...you have another emotion first that you are uncertain how to deal with so you RESPOND in anger instead. this could be frustration, sadness, grief, confusion, fear. identify that emotion and deal with it and you will not be angry.
identify your triggers. what are the things that make you angry? avoid them
what are your signs of anger? increased heart rate, flushed cheeks, clenched fist, clenched teeth..........notice when you are doing these things and take yourself out of the situation you are in to calm down.
