That is horrible. First of all it's your business, not theirs. I would have told them to take all of their judgey little eyes and put them right back in there heads. I don't consider my scars a mistake, but if you feel they were in your case, it is no reason for them to judge you for them. It was highly inappropriate and if an apology isn't the next word to come out of their mouth - then they most definitely need to be reported to a higher authority because workplace taunting is highly unprofessional. Mostly, I just want them all to fall into a lake somewhere and drown - but a wholesome life is about forgiving. So, for those who want to remain a-holes about it - tell them to drop it and report them if necessary. But hopefully there will be a gem in there who will remember that you were a person before they knew your secret and treat you accordingly.
