I was on triliptal for a few years and it really did help with my moods (more so the depression than the manic), but it did wonders with my anger. I had no side effects and the pdoc told me that it's a very mild drug in regards to side effects. I eventually did have to upgrade to lamictal because it eventually stopped working one day. The pdoc said my body must have gotten use to the drug and I was on the highest dose so she could go any higher.

But overall, I did like it and hopefully it will work for you.
