Mother's Day has me thinking about Father's Day. I have a friend who had a daughter 8 years ago, and the mother took off with her. My friend has hired PI's to no avail, and cannot find her.

When it comes time for Father's Day, would a card be too much? Should I ignore Father's Day? I'm just not sure what this must feel like for him....so I thought I'd throw it out here for advice.
