I decided someone needed to perform The Beastie Boys 'Paul's Boutique' live, and I, with absolutely zero musical or stage background (or talent), was the one to do it. I put adds up on Craigslist, Bandmix (or something like that, they still send me emails) and at the local community college. I purchased instrumental tracks, I already knew 95% of the words. I ended up with one response- a guy trying to tell me how much effort it would take to pull it off. I told him where he could shove his negative attitude.

I still think the concept is awesome and should be done, but I am not the person and a small(ish) Midwest town might not be the placed it would be most supported.
