I was misdiagnosed with BDP in September. I have changed community mental health teams and the new consultant wants me to go to the psychiatric unit of the hospital for a new diagnosis. Has anyone else had this experience?

Usually I get diagnosed where my CPN sees me weekly, so I find it a bit odd that they are sending me to the hospital for the new one, my CPN will be present with me for this.
