My oldest son has needed spinal surgery for the last 2 years. 2 years ago April, his orthopedic surgeon called me the night before the surgery to cancel saying he didn't have an adequate pediatric Neurosurgeon to help with the surgery. Then, they said they would fax a letter to Duke, so that he could have his surgery there. Just found out this week they never did fax the letter. Now, they are saying that Dr. Mooney will not do the surgery at all because he refuses to take the legal medical risk and that Corey will be paralyzed IF he makes it through the surgery.
I'M TERRIFIED! GOD PLEASE DON'T LET ME LOSE MY SON. HE JUST TURNED 14.
NOW, WITH ALL MY PROBLEMS------HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO HANDLE THIS???? I AM GOING TO LOSE MY MIND. PLEASE, PRAY FOR MY SON COREY. HE IS SUCH A SWEET BOY. AND EVERY BREATHE I TAKE IS FOR HIM. <3 Love, Natalie <3
