Porcupine Girl, I love a BPD (and I am very far from meeting any BPD criteria), I know that BPD (at least sometimes) completely rules your life, but I also know it does not completely define you! Of course you can be loved for you and who you are, your BPD traits included. It is not easy, but no relationship ever is! I am not trying to belittle your suffering or discredit any post here....for me it just shows that love is much more complicated than a diagnosis or than "classifying" a person fit for love/ to be loved through a diagnosis. Aren't we all so much more than one simple definition? It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and a little bit of luck. I am certain of it that you are worth all that and then some!
