it is understandable that you wouldn't want to address it. it is painful. but one thing...ptsd messes with you as much as the bipolar does. when my ptsd was really being triggered, and I had no idea why it was being triggered because I don't remember much, my bipolar got out of control and I ended up hospitalized. my t tells me that if we handle the trauma issues, chances are I may be able to get off med as I will be able to handle the mood swings. wouldn't that be nice.
