I was having a pretty good day at work when our receptionist told me there's someone on the line for me.

The next thing I know I am being completely torn apart by this one client. I was taken completely off guard and was so shocked by her rudeness. She went on to ask me if I was too stupid to answer her and what was I even doing at the company, what do I even do?

And then I did something I wished to never do at work. I started crying.

I only after the matter once I calmed down thought of 20 different ways I could have handled the situation. But this was the first time I have ever had to deal with a customer, and it went like that so it really rattled me. And I'm trying to get over it.

Just needed to rant a bit and get it out before it ate me up. But I must say that every one at my work was really supportive and we have nicked named her "The stupid b!tch" so I am really grateful for that.

What do you do in these situations?
