Sorry, I did not read the thread's title right. I think the idea of programming your phone to ring in a different way when she calls and not greet her the way she dislikes being greeted is a good one. You do not need to change and there is nothing wrong with you - it is her idiosyncrasy. If you can greet her the way she likes and greet everybody else with the regular takeout greeting, would everyone live happily ever after?
