I also have let go of quite a bit of trauma from my past that has help me prisoner for far too long. I no longer feel the need to use or drink now that my moods are balanced and my ADHD is being treated. Surprising how 3 little meds can change my life not to mention the amazing trauma therapy I've undergone and plan to continue. Thank you to Psyche Central for including a forum for the addict, alcoholic, or person in recovery!
You've achieved a really GREAT thing, 60 days is a long long time when for some of it I know you were climbing the walls (usually the beginning). It's actually YOU who's done all this, YOU and not the meds, they do help but only as part of the whole scene. Many of us turn to different substances because we ''hurt'' and that's usually at a very early age. Keep up the good work and I hope to see you round here in future! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
