That doctor should be reported as no psychiatrist worth their salt would ever tell a patient they're lying. It's just not done. Please complain about them as they could be putting lives at risk with that sort of behaviour. There are some highly vulnerable people out there.

Believe me when i say this sort of scenario is sadly quite common but also rectifiable - as i've said you're entitled to aftercare after a hospital stay, there's no way they can NOT treat you, it just sounds like they're trying to lighten their caseload if nothing else. CMHT's play these sorts of tricks all the time. PALS will be able to help you - they'll see to it that a permanent consultant and CC will be assigned to your case. And if not (which is unlikely) there are other channels you can go down to get the appropriate care. It's not always easy and apathy can be a huge problem in people with BPD but nothing in life that's worth having ever comes easy.

If you can't bring yourself to do any of that at least speak to MIND - they have so much info on hand and are very nice. They even offer counselling sessions and local services depending on where you are. They too will be able to guide you on how to proceed.

Please don't give up. You are worthy of a better life.
Thanks for this!
