I don't have much advice but I can offer you some support. Please try to be yourself and having a good health is the most important thing. You cannot enjoy anything if you are not well physically and mentally. A few pounds up, a few pounds down - it does not make a difference as long as you are happy and enjoying things/people around you. May be if you try to seek the beauty around you and focus a little less on the scale of your weight-machine, it may help you get a better perspective. You are blessed with food on your table and family or friends around you who are organising such an event on a weekend. I bet a lot of people facing hunger/famine or people who don't have friends or family would be willing to swap their lives with you. I hope you find peace and happiness! My best!
