It is very difficult to stay for long periods of time with the home treatment team. Ive been referred to them a few times and they try to discharge as soon as possible. I think home treatment dont give long term help in general.
What you could do is find out where your nearest community mental health team is and book as assesment. Sometimes you have to be a pain in the back side to get the help you need. Its not fair i know. There seems to be a growing number of people with mental health so i think the professionals are overwhelmed and dont have enough resources, its still no excuse though. We didnt ask to have these problems.
