A few years back I was loosing my voice completely. Couldn't talk, had to write stuff down that kind of thing. I went to my doctor who referred me to a Pulmonologist. He was concerned that my breathing obstructed. When I went to the Pulmonologist she made me blow into a machine to measure my exhale output. I immediately lost my voice. She told me my vocal cords had spammed and that is why I couldn't talk. She called it a spastic esophagus. She told me to pant lightly and that would release the spasm and I would be able to talk. She was right. Ask you Dr about this. They can check for it and give you the right course of action. Take care.
