This kind of situation serves to define an important aspect of my experience. I make sure my pdoc and doctors know I am prone to exaggerated reactions to relatively mild stimuli.
On the other hand, the work incident you describe in other recent posts would be a "big deal" to me, too.
Can you talk to your doctor(s) soon? Insomnia and chronic pain can wear you down quickly.
