I'm sure I do too, even though I never had an official label of it. Thanks for reviving this thread.
I can't stand loud noises of any kind, and I wear earplugs to bed every night. Or I wouldn't be able to sleep. I've got a white noise/sound machine in every room, and I use them a lot.
Recently, we had a power outage which meant no sound machines. Or fans (it was hot), music (it helps me cope with neighbors), etc. And I was able to hear my upstairs neighbor, every #$%^&*? bloody STEP. Old biddy! I have a battery powered sound machine, but it's not as powerful as ones that take power of course. Thank goodness it was only out about a half hour. It was unbearable, as I could hear all the unwanted sounds without MY sounds to help drown or muffle them out.
I hate jackhammers, leaf blowers, tree trimming saws (I think they are called chain saws), construction noise, revving car engines, etc. Also hate squeaks and rattles. Once my shopping cart was rattling around in my trunk. I had to pull over and reposition it so it won't rattle anymore. Drove me nuts while driving.
