to chat with just one other person (at a time) while sitting in the lobby,, you use the right-click, drop down menu on their name, and select "Private Message". this will open a little side window that only the 2 of you can see. you can have many of these open at a time AND the person doesn't even have to be IN the lobby, only in Chat,, so they can stay in their room, and NO ONE KNOWS~!
