I have been very interested in Yalom's claim that clients tend to remember the small stuff in therapy. That he was shocked to find out that clients do not remember the 'brilliant' interpretations and insight.
I would like to start a thread (possibly weekly) to find out what we remember about our most recent sessions.
So, if you would be so kind...

... please tell me what struck you the most about your
most recent session. It can be something your T said, a look that he/she gave, body language, an expression of emotion, etc. Don't think too hard! It should be something that stuck out to you.
I would like to see if there are patterns or similarities in the things that we remember.
As for my Friday session, I remember the look in his eyes when I told him, "my unconscious doesn't know the difference between therapy once per week, and no therapy at all." His eyes demonstrated a matching of emotion in that very moment. He was right there with me, sharing in the pain of my disconnect. As much as I complained about him in regards to this last session, this was a striking moment for me. All in his eyes.
