Since I've had pretty much no luck with meds (15+), my pdoc wanted to do genetic testing. They have an assistance program which I'd fit into so I agreed to do it. They took some cotton swabs from the inside of my cheek and I see my pdoc again in December.

He says there's information they can glean, like not being able to process certain medications or how my body metabolizes them.

Has anyone done this testing? Did you find it helpful in finding a useful med?
