This is a good post. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to your situation. Many people eat alone at their desks where I work for many reasons (they don't have money to eat out with others, they have different lunch schedules, they eat a quick snack then go the gym, etc. ) it doesn't leave too many people to have lunch with unless I ask someone if I can join them. I also bring a couple of snacks and offer to share.

Try to make time in the morning to eat a small breakfast (sugar-free cereal, oatmeal) You can still have a healthy lunch if you decide to eat alone so try to pack a larger healthy lunch and have your snack in the afternoon. This will help to curve your appetite in the evenings. Also drink a large glass of water before you eat.

I hope you learn to eat healthy whether you eat alone or with someone else.
