So I've been on the same medications for almost a year now. My main med is Effexor. I already take 300 mgs a day. I've been having a hard time recently probably due to this time of year (I'm sure many of us are) and I'm also dealing with memories of some trauma at happened around this time several years ago. I was doing well when I last saw my PDOC in September and so I'm not supposed to see him until some time in December. But I wonder if it would worth it to try switching meds again. I've tried lamictal, Wellbutrin, adding ability, deploy and different doses of Effexor. Nothing has made me more stable (for lack of a better term, I'm not bipolar) then what I currently taking but I have no idea what to do. I'm just okay for the most part with some really bad days thrown in that are becoming more frequent. And I know that Effexor is a pain to step down from. Any suggestions?
