Welcome to the forum. I agree with the others, you need a correct diagnosis. A lot of things mimic bipolar symptoms.
A psychologist would be a good start, although a psychiatrist would be better. If you feel suicidal and feel like hurting others, they will probably put you on meds. At least long enough to get you stabilized so you can be receptive to therapy.
