I tried abilify and couldn't handle the side effects. I couldn't stay awake and I was extremely agitated all the time.

Instead, my pdoc put me on Buspar. I've only been on it for about a week now, and I am starting to notice the positive effects. It seems to keep me more stable and less likely to give in to the dark side in times where I normally would. I've read though that Buspar works well when combined with an AD, and I'm on 375mg of Effexor and 300mg of Wellbutrin so I got that area covered

I haven't noticed any side effects from the buspar. I think Effexor has caused me to see small spots at times. Wellbutrin has given me tinitus (ringing ears), and makes me quick to sweat. And then Depakote makes me fat; a little spleepy at first, but fine after a while.
