Well, on one hand, it doesn't sound like anyone helped you very much. In your family's defense, I take any threats of killing oneself seriously bc I lost a brother that way. I rather lock someone up and have them hate me forever but them be ok than lose them to a violent awful death. Still I understand you also. I prefer my cats and dog to my family quite often except for my sister and nephews. They are really cool, but my sister and I didn't always get along.
