I totally agree about mothers at risk of losing custody of kids as warranting free representation.I'm pretty certain it does where I live. So sorry to hear of your situations.

Thank you! Yes, I see your point too - if there were no stigma in the first place, it would not be so very easy to intimidate and threaten. That women get easily persuaded that the judge will not deem them fit for mothering due to MI is a direct effect of the stigma. Definitely.

You are in the UK - glad to hear that you have court rules that are more fair and more humane and we have here.
