I've had dx's of bipolar and even schizoaffective but after working with a neurologist and getting testing done it is found that I have a form of epilepsy.
I go to therapy I take my meds and currently I'm doing a day treatment program. I've done DBT, CBT, I've had 20 shocks of ECT (which now I find totally ironic).
Still, I can't get off the couch, I struggle to have a coherent thought. I'm on SSDI for all this. My kids deserve so much more.
I'm not really sure what the point of my post is, but I'm glad I found a treatment resistant board. If anyone has any new fangled treatments they'd like to throw my way I'm up for suggestions. I do vitamins and supplements already. used to do yoga, would like the motivation to get back into it

for really specific medical problems to check and supplement, diet and exercise and sleep recommendations from Mark Hyman (Andrew Weil is also great for that stuff).
That thread describes "SNAP CLUB", is very easy to try and which seems to really work. People are reporting that meditation really does work, and in a BIG way, but you have to be patient and keep at it for a couple of weeks.
