A friend accused me of being "grumpy" this week. I almost went off on her! Then she started talking about how tired she was the night before and went to bed at 8:30. I couldn't help myself. I said "Welcome to my life!"
I pointed out that calling me "grumpy" was hurtful. Side note - she calls me "grumpy" a lot when other people talk about my positive attitude. Anyway, then she said she meant I didn't seem like myself. I pointed out that calling me "grumpy" sends a very different message than asking if I'm okay because I don't seem myself.
I started a flare the beginning of the month. It's likely to last until about April. Winter here is one cold front after another. I hurt and am exhausted until they end in the spring. Does a "flare" that lasts for months count as a flare?
Sorry, I'm on the pity pot today. In addition to the fibro flare I picked up a headcold from those little bacteria factories (kids) I work with. I feel like poo today.
