It's tough. Abilify is by far the best drug for me. My docs would have actually allowed it, with the warning that there is not a lot of research on it (although nothing bad has come out about it yet either). I didn't feel comfortable with that, so I switched to Lamictal, which has many years of good safety research. I think it does something for me, but it isn't great. I actually was just trying for a second child, but my mood got so bad, that we decided to take a break for a while and go back on abilify for a while and reevaluate what we want to do going forward.

It sucks. My husband gets to take whatever meds he needs and still have kid(s). It's hard to be a woman.
