There is always a lighter side of things. Some times way too hard to see but, you just hung in there. There must be a good reason why you didn't get those jobs, and it may have very little to do with you. And, it is actually good that you got those letters, many companies nowadays just leave you hanging and never bother to even say "thanks but no thanks". At least you know.
