No, and it shouldn't make it worse.
I feel all my anxiety in my stomach. It gives me nausea, reflux and indigestion. What I do is sip on some flavored mineral water, because it dilutes my stomach acid that seems to burn its lining, and it makes me burp. Burping usually gets rid of my nausea. Sometimes I will eat half of a banana. Surprisingly that fruit settles my tummy. If none of these work I will take prochlorperazine (Stemetil) that I get from my family doctor.
I have discovered eating small meals and not skipping them has also reduced the amount of nausea my anxiety gives me.
