It's good that you're going to see a GI specialist. You need to see if you do have an ulcer. If you've had ulcers in the past, or have one now, then I could see where you probably shouldn't be on any NSAIDs.

Narcotics are actually pretty safe meds. Seems to me that's what you need for the pain. You should stick with the pain specialist and ortho specialist until you see for sure what they will, or won't, do for you. I'm sorry you are in such distress. Sounds like you need some kind of help for sure.
