Is there a teacher, guidance counselor or school administrator you know and trust? Even the front office secretary or nurse would be a good option. If so, I'd suggest you talk to them first. Outline what has happened, as far as you're comfortable.

Failing that, at the facility you had gone too - did you get the name/number of the doctor you'd be seeing? Could you call on your own without your mom?
