Another one that is definitely worth looking at is mianserin, however Remeron is almost identical, and that's probably why the FDA never bothered.. but mianserin was a life changer for a ton of people.

I think amineptine was kind of the same.. it's a bit too mood lifting for the old bastards in the USA, so no-go there.. funny that for a long time, perhaps even still, Russia handed out methcaninone pills like candy to just about everyone because it was a super cheap mood lifter for a people living in harsh times (40's - 60's).. and methcathinone has always been a clandestine C-I here.
