Hi mommaxo, how is it going? How is the clinic?

I am not one to want to judge and I'm not here to do that. I just want to share my story with you. I got pregnant unwed many years ago. I was a smoker, not really heavy duty. But when I found out that I was pregnant, I threw the pack in the garbage can. I had enough stress going on that I didn't even feel withdrawal from it. Engage yourself in anything else, and focus on the life growing inside you. He/she doesn't want that drug.

Another thing I'm going to add, is I had a friend who was pregnant and had a baby a few weeks after I had mine. I worked with her. I asked her why she wouldn't quit, for the sake of the baby. She said "I'm too stressed right now, I have enough going on". That baby came out very underweight, was on a special alarm after being able to finally be brought home, because the baby was so underweight and probably affected by the cigarette smoke. It scared me to see that, she had to keep the alarm on if the baby would stop breathing, the baby had to be upright in its sleep. About 8 years after her daughter was born, the mother died. Cancer.
I shared it to maybe make you realize what can happen. I hope you just throw them out and deal with whatever withdrawal. Up there, who said "it makes you anxious "....it is very true and you are a slave to the cigarettes. Be free. Best wishes for you and your baby.
