Sorry to hear about the lost of your beloved pet. I am not going to claim to understand how you feel because I don't. I do know how hard it is losing a beloved pet. I lost my beloved cat of 22 years on August 5 and many family dogs over the years. No matter what anyone tells me your loss is real. Pets are a member of the family for a lot of people. I think I cried harder when I lost my cat than when I lost my mom. It isn't because I loved my mom any less, it is because my cat has been with me through everything. She lived with me. Take as long as you want to grieve your dog and in your own time if you wish get another dog. One suggestion I heard is not to get an animal that looks like your other dog. Again so sorry.
