yeah. i tried to hot wax once and overheated the wax and gave myself a pretty serious burn which put me off that rather. so i got the cold strips that you warm up by rubbing them between your hands. they are alright, but yeah, i tend to miss bits. i don't think they are meant to be as good as the hot wax for getting all the hair out. thats kinda where i thought an epilady might come in handy... to tidy it up and then to keep it all tidy. any pulling-it-out strategy helps damage the hair follicle so it grows back a bit slower and with desensitised nerves so it won't hurt as much to pull it out next time apparently.

you can get other cold waxes... are they sugar waxes??? or maybe they aren't cold they are just a bit cooler than the other sort. i think they are meant to be about as good as the hot waxes though. i think nads was one of those. my friends boyfriend used to eat it and when my friend found out she just about killed him 'cause that is some expensive honey and fruit sugars to be eating on toast!

i guess i was just wondering about how much of an issue ingrown hairs are with epiladys. wax removes that top layer of skin along with the hair to help prevent ingrown hairs but i've heard you can get ingrown hairs worse because the epilady doesn't remove that top layer of skin.
