I supported myself cause I wanted to fit in and not let my thoughts and family win... so I just kept pushing myself. So in a way, family helped like that.
Mostly I helped myself through reading online, writing, distractions and setting goals.
Some friends over the years have helped.
Therapy is helping me, because it's really forcing me to answer things honestly and share my actual emotions - which is sooooo hard for me to do.
