I am a firm believer that when something terrible happens to you, you have to try and make light of the situation and laugh it off when it's all said and done. With that being said does anybody have any stories they would like to share to brighten someone's day? Maybe crying for a stupid reason when you were in a depression or doing something crazy and silly when you're in a manic state?

I had this time where I was depressed for about 3 good solid days. Nothing and nobody could cheer me up, make me smile, nor laugh. I would cry for outrageous reasons, well anyways I had an appointment with my pdoc and at 10:10 in the morning. I went bed and woke up and it was already 11AM and I missed my appointment. I destroyed my room looking for my phone to call the office and try to get another appointment that day. I finally found it, called, and was freaking out like it was the end of the world. I couldn't get an appointment for the same day the only opening was 2 weeks later and I broke down. "I don't know how I missed this stupid appointment, I'm an idiot i should have set more alarms." I was really making the receptionist uncomfortable. Then when I calmed down, the receptionist tells me " We'll I can hear that your upset, but if you think your day is starting off terrible, i'm sitting here with 2 different shoes on and they're both the left shoe." I blew up in laughter thinking of that image.

No matter who you are or how deep of a depression you are in, if you can imagine crying to a lady in scrubs over the phone, and on the other end she has one ear to the phone looking at how silly she looked with 2 left shoes, you have to laugh. So i'll leave the rest open to you all. If you have any stories to share leave them and maybe it'll help someone smile.
