Since I am the mom of three small children, my stories are related to kids:

1) When dd1 was 4 she asked me, "Mom, do butterflies have teeth?" So cute.

2) One day dd1 was asking for cookies at lunch and I asked her, "Did you finish your carrots?" "Yes," she replied. DD2 chimes in, "I ate pretend carrots too!" lmao!!!

3) I lay in bed with ds at night and we chat. He is 4 y.o. He usually compliments me and says loving words like "Mommy I love you. Mommy I love your voice." etc. But a few nights ago he said, "Mommy, I wish you had beautiful eyes." That was funny!!!

ETA - I guess for me making light of the situation of parenting is what this is all about!
