Yeah, I was trying to be so POSITIVE with my post this past Thanksgiving. But I forgot what Thanksgiving is really about
: the food! Not only could I not eat the potatoes anymore like I used to (allergies) i got a surprise bite of sausage in the home made stuffing (which if not bought from the package in the store is usually guaranteed free of nightshades but most sausages are made with nightshades), so yeah. I I felt like I was hung over yesterday when I got up- not quite like a hangover, but my equilibrium was off for most of the day. Not a good feeling. I didn't even finish a fulbeer and just had a single sip of wine (technically a 'taste") so I know that had nothing to do with it. I'm sure more hidden nightshades than I know about- ell, I did have a couple slices of pie- I thought I'd be ok because all pumpkin pie has only trace amounts- of course I didnt bake it myself. (a common ingredient in pumpkin pie is allspice, which contains nightshade) I finally just mashed my own sweet potatoes (not a nightshade) and am enjoying that now. . . .
