All in all we REALLY were fortunate especially to have the genie and could still get out of the house. PLus I thought the family time without all the gadgets was kind of nice. However, not everyone was as fortunate as we were, that just wasn't the case everywhere. All of the power has finally been restored around here now and am glad that that is the case for everyone; worry so much when there are those that are going without in these temps especially. Side note, one store has even brought in more turkeys, it turns out, recognizing what has happened, for more dinners to celebrate later at reduced costs; I was able to cook them a Thanksgiving dinner before they left on Saturday. It was a nice way to close out the week.
