I get where you're coming from - chat has changed rather a bit in recent months. Luckily as im in a different time zone i miss a lot of what goes on much later.

There are steps you can prevent to safeguard yourself a bit better. They're not always foolproof - sometimes it's no good if you have to have half the room on block but fortunately things do move on, new rooms are created, members leave. It's about sticking it out if you really feel you need support.

Chat won't always be the place it is now, so try not to give up on it completely. I'm sorry you weren't better supported. I'm all for a laugh and joke but that doesn't mean courtesy etc. has to go out the window.

We're not all sarcastic and self centered and chat is definitely not a reflection of this place as whole.
