It's also infamous for it's "treatments" and there are only two full time specialists in the entire country - both located at a clinic in the capital city called the CNP. However, the facility could help - to Zayn - are you near the capital or can you get there? The CNP seems to be staffed by both Mauritanian and French staff as far as I can tell (most links are in French). They should be able to help you.
