Just picked up some messages that Jerry said I needed to hear on his cell phone. One was from my middle son (Jerry's from a first marriage. I took him out of an abusive environment and raised him as my own at the age of 3). He called his dad and told him to tell me that he had called to "wish Tomi a happy mother's day". He's ALWAYS called me Mom!... Well, except after I was hospitalized in a deep depression. I said something pretty mean about him, but I've since apologized and tried to make up for it. It's me that's talking like a dutch uncle to get the rest of the family to pitch in for the airline round trip ticket for him and my two grandkids. I've just about got it together... Of course, he doesn't know this... yet. Well... he will when he opens his email I just sent him.
Ah, DAMN! And I was just getting over the Mother's Day doldrums!
